We are pleased to bring you another guest blog post today from Candy Osborne, our Marketing Programs Manager.

More than 50 clients attended the one-day e-learning user conference Perspectives Canada in Toronto recently. Perspectives Canada, like its Stateside sister conference Perspectives, is an opportunity to network with others and discover how organizations are utilizing learning to get a competitive edge.
The highlight of the event was an invigorating presentation by Jim Clemmer, our guest speaker. Jim spoke about the difference of “bolt-on” versus “built-in” learning and how real change to culture comes from changing behaviors so they become integrated into everyday life. As one example to make change, he challenged the audience to have courageous conversations, and confront, as the Canadians state, “the moose on the table.”
Several customers shared their success stories, including Open Text Corp., Toyota Canada, Overwaitea Food Group, MD Physicians and KPMG Canada.
Special thanks to both our customers and Jim Clemmer for speaking so eloquently on changes, benchmarks and actionable ideas that participants benefitted from.
