Skillsoft and LinkedIn are innovating together on new ways to make enterprise learning accomplishments a win-win for employees and the organizations that employ them.
For most working adults, the vast majority of non-degree learning and professional development happens in the workplace. Companies invest in employee development solutions for many reasons including great workforce agility, stronger competitive advantage, and higher levels of employee engagement. Employees are motivated to take advantage of these resources because they are increasingly web-delivered and highly engaging, are the quickest way to learn a new skill and can help an individual advance faster and further in their career.
Until now, however, those training accomplishments garnered little visibility outside the corporate LMS. Together, the two companies are inventing new integrations that seamlessly allow individual learners in the enterprise to automatically add course completion and other professional learning accomplishments directly to an individual’s LinkedIn profile.
